Order Desk Update: Old Orders Being Imported from Shopify

Recently Shopify made a change in their platform that has been updating really old orders, making them look new again. The result of this is that orders are being imported into Order Desk that shouldn’t be.

Until Shopify resolves this issue, to prevent this from causing any problems with your fulfillment processes, we’ve built in a new feature. If you look in your Shopify integration settings, you will now see a new setting called First Import Date. We added 2019-01-01 to this field by default to all Order Desk stores using Shopify to prevent any orders from before 2019 from being pushed into Order Desk by Shopify.

You can change this date if you need to, or if you’ve already set a different date, that will be honored. We hope this will help minimize this disruption.

If you need to intentionally download historic orders, you will have to first set this date back to the date you want to search from.
