Order Desk Release Notes – September 2025

This month, we’ve got a new integration on the block, plus a round of updates to existing integrations and the Order Desk app itself. It’s been all about small fixes, time-saving improvements, and adding a couple of helpful features behind the scenes.

Let’s dive in to learn more…

New Integrations

Cin7

If Cin7 is your go-to for inventory and order management, you can now connect it directly to Order Desk. Orders will be automatically submitted to Cin7, with inventory and shipment updates synced back into Order Desk to keep your carts up to date. Whether you’re managing multiple warehouses or just looking to automate your workflow, this integration helps bridge the gap between operations and fulfillment. Learn more about the Cin7 integration here.

Order Desk App Updates

  • A new Exact Match Replace filter has been added to export templates. Unlike the existing Search & Replace filter that works with partial matches, this one only replaces values that match exactly. You can learn more about this here.
  • Orders that are updated via the API will now show an Order Updated entry in the order history, with API listed as the source. This helps improve tracking of changes made to an order.
  • Export templates that include Twig code will now have the ORDER-LOOKUP parameter applied automatically behind the scenes. No need to manually apply the parameter anymore.
  • Order Desk now automatically generates a tracking url for UniUni and MACHOOL shipments. This link is included with your tracking info and makes it easier for customers to follow their orders.

Integration Features, Updates and Fixes

Sales Channels

  • TikTok Shop
    • Added a new Shipping Label Downloaded rule event. You can now use this to run specific workflows whenever a shipping label is successfully pulled into Order Desk.
    • We’ve added some handling for temporary errors from TikTok. When we come across these errors, we’ll retry things in the background so you don’t have to step in manually.
  • eBay
    • A Country Filter setting has been added. This lets you limit imported orders to specific countries, giving you more control over which eBay orders flow into Order Desk.
  • Amazon Marketplace
    • We can now receive new orders instantly via webhook. This allows Order Desk to pull in Amazon orders as soon as they’re placed, without waiting for scheduled bulk downloads.
  • Amazon Retail Procurement
    • Added XYY1 to the list of recognized Canadian addresses.
  • Shopify
    • A new force update option has been added when downloading products. This ensures the latest product identifiers (for example, variant ID) are saved to your item metadata, even if there are no stock changes. This is especially useful if these identifiers were changed in Shopify and you want to bring the new updates in.
    • Inventory sync will now match SKUs in a case-insensitive way. This is helpful in cases where SKU letter-casing varies between Order Desk and Shopify.
  • Square
    • Added support for an Inventory Location Filter. This helps you control which orders we should import from Square.
    • Fixed a bug with how shipment payloads were submitted. The payload has been updated to match Square’s current requirements.
    • Added a new rule action to set order status in Square after orders are imported.
  • DSCO Supplier
    • Increased the character limit for the Warehouse Code integration setting to 100 characters. This is useful for stores with longer warehouse codes.
  • Big Cartel
    • Product downloads now force an update even if stock hasn’t changed. This ensures you always get the latest product data, which includes pricing, metadata, and variations when importing products from Big Cartel.
  • Bandcamp
    • The name of the band connected to Order Desk will now be visible on the integration settings page.
  • Liftoff
    • Added a new integration setting to control which shipping method field to retrieve. You can choose whether to use the Display Name or code, depending on the version that best fits your fulfillment setup.
  • Nexternal
    • When importing orders, we now fetch customer account number data if it’s available. This can be useful for customers who want extra tracking or account-level workflows.
  • Blastramp HQ
    • When syncing inventory, if a blastramp_inv_id isn’t set as metadata, we’ll now fallback to using the item code instead. This ensures that stock sync continues working even if inventory IDs are missing.
    • Order Desk will now import order notes and warehouse shipping instructions from Blastramp when downloading orders.
  • ApparelMagic
    • We’ll now prioritize the description field as the item name when available, instead of pulling it from one of the item attributes. This helps make sure that your item names in Order Desk are more accurate and descriptive.

Fulfillment

  • Logiwa
    • You can now fetch serial numbers for items during shipment updates. These are saved as item metadata and can be referenced later.
    • We’ve added handling for duplicate order codes when checking for shipments. This helps avoid unnecessary errors when syncing with Logiwa.
  • CargoWise
    • New shipping class support for StarTrack: StarTrack Express (EXP), StarTrack Premium (PRE), StarTrack Fixed Price Premium (FPP), and StarTrack Same Day 2U2Day (SAM) .
  • Active Ants
    • Added support for a new carrier method called INPOST.
  • Deposco
    • Carrier code STAMPS is now automatically converted to USPS if the shipping method is USPS. This fixes issues where some carts didn’t recognize the STAMPS code coming from Deposco.
  • PDR
    • Added support for a new shipping method called CIRRO.
  • Stuller
    • You can now send packing slips and shipping labels with your orders by setting PackingSlip and ShippingLabel fields as order metadata or checkout data.
  • Shipwire
    • The integration has been updated to use their latest connection method: access key authentication.
  • ShipBob
    • You can now pass the SalesChannel and OriginalPlatform fields with your orders via checkout data or metadata.
  • ShipHero Fulfillment
    • You can now override the order number sent to ShipHero using the OrderNumber field as either order metadata or checkout data.

Print On Demand

  • White Label MFG
    • We’ve added support for a new item metadata field called custom_product. This lets White Label differentiate between standard and custom products on their end. The value is passed along with order items automatically.
  • T Shirt & Sons
    • You can now cancel orders directly from the Order Details page or by using a rule action.
  • BurgerPrints
    • Added support for sending a shipping label along with your orders. If a ShippingLabel field is set on the order as checkout data or order metadata, it’ll now be passed to BurgerPrints.
  • BDLinx
    • We now track print piece completion at the item level. When BDLinx sends a webhook for printed items, Order Desk will save the item’s current status under a bdlinx_status metadata field, and a bdlinx_print_piece_complete field will also be added.
    • For visibility, these updates will also show in the Order History, and the printed count will now increment correctly across all matching line items.
  • Print Geek Original
    • We’ve updated how print location is handled for single-asset orders. Instead of using the fallback value “trimmed,” Order Desk now reflects the actual print side (like “back”) in the asset description, following Print Geek’s updated expectations.
  • Turbine
    • This integration now lets you set a default mail class, which will be used as the shipping method for orders unless overridden. You can also use the Shipping Class Match setting to map your shipping methods to ones recognized by Turbine.
  • Dream Junction
    • Added support for a default mail class for Dream Junction as well. You can use the Shipping Class Match setting to map your shipping methods to the ones recognized by Dream Junction.
  • Dimona
    • Order Desk now writes entries to Order History when an order status update is received from Dimona. This gives you better visibility into what’s happening after your orders are sent there.
  • Jondo Global
    • If a tracking URL is missing from shipment data, Order Desk will now automatically generate one using the tracking number format. For example, ESIG-tracked shipments will link to eShipper’s tracking page.
  • Lulu Xpress
    • Added support for sending recipient tax ID for orders going to Brazil, Chile, and Mexico. The value can be passed using the recipient_tax_id field on your order.
  • Monster Digital
    • You can now include up to three hangtags and stickers per item by hangtag_binid_x and sticker_preview_x fields.
    • Added support for a new print location: “RBL – Right Back Leg (shorts)”.

That wraps it up for this month! We’ll be back soon with more updates to help you do more with Order Desk. Until then, have fun!
