How to connect Shopify and Monster Digital

In Manage Integrations, enable Shopify under Shopping Carts and click Connect to Shopify to install the app. Set your Shopify orders to manual fulfillment so tracking can be passed back.
Connect Monster Digital
Enable Monster Digital under Print on Demand and enter the API credentials from your Monster Digital representative. Use Test mode to try orders before going live.
Add print details and automate
Save each product’s
print_sku, artwork URLs (JPG or PNG), and print locations on its inventory item, then turn on Add Inventory Details to Order Items. Create a rule that submits orders to Monster Digital when they’re imported.Tip: submit a few orders manually first to confirm everything looks right, then switch on the rule.

Shopify + Monster Digital questions
Can Shopify orders be sent to Monster Digital automatically?
Yes. Shopify orders import into Order Desk as soon as they’re placed, pick up the print details saved on your products, and a rule triggered by “Order is Imported” submits them to Monster Digital.
What information does Monster Digital need for each order?
Each item needs Monster Digital’s product SKU (print_sku) and at least one artwork URL in JPG or PNG format. DigitalPrint items also need a print location, such as front or back. You can attach up to five print files per item.
How does Monster Digital know which shipping method to use?
Set up a Shipping Class Match that maps each Shopify shipping method to a Monster Digital shipping class. Anything without a match uses the default class in your Monster Digital settings.
Can I send some items to Monster Digital and others to another supplier?
Yes. Order Desk can split Shopify orders by vendor or fulfillment location as they import, or split them by printer with a rule, so each supplier only receives its own items.
Where do I get my Monster Digital API credentials?
Monster Digital creates and provides them, so contact your Monster Digital representative. Order Desk support can’t look up or reset Monster Digital credentials.
