In Manage Integrations, enable Etsy under Shopping Carts, click Connect to Etsy and allow access. Choose which orders to download and turn on Sync Tracking Numbers.
Connect teelaunch
Enable teelaunch under Print on Demand and enter your teelaunch API key. Then add the webhook URL from your Order Desk settings to your teelaunch Developer Settings so tracking comes back automatically.
Add print details and automate
Save each product’s teelaunch ID as
print_skuand its artwork asprint_url_1on its inventory item, or use itsVariantIDif the product is already set up in teelaunch. Etsy + teelaunch questions
Can Etsy orders be sent to teelaunch automatically?
Yes. Order Desk downloads your Etsy orders on the schedule you choose, adds the teelaunch print details saved on your products, and a rule triggered by “Order is Imported” submits them to teelaunch.
Does the Etsy connection work for every shop?
Not always. Under a recent Etsy policy change, third-party apps like Order Desk can no longer access full shipping addresses or send tracking updates for shops in certain regions, and Etsy updates that list from time to time. If your shop is affected, some users route Etsy orders through ShipStation and bring them into Order Desk with the ShipStation Order Import integration.
What does teelaunch need for each item?
The teelaunch ID for the blank product (print_sku) and a link to your artwork (print_url_1). You can send up to five artwork files, each with its own print location. If the product is already set up in teelaunch, its Variant ID can replace those fields.
Does tracking go back to Etsy?
Yes. teelaunch sends shipment details to Order Desk through the webhook URL in your teelaunch Developer Settings. With Sync Tracking Numbers turned on, Order Desk sends the tracking to Etsy, which emails your customer. If an order has more than one tracking number, only the first is sent to Etsy.
Do my Etsy listings need SKUs?
It’s strongly recommended. Give each variation its own SKU in Etsy so Order Desk can apply the right teelaunch product and artwork to every size and color.
