Connect eBay
In Manage Integrations, enable eBay under Shopping Carts and click Connect To eBay. Sign in and click Agree to authorize Order Desk, then choose which orders to import and turn on Sync Tracking Numbers.
Connect Gelato
Enable Gelato under Print on Demand and enter your Gelato API key. Then add the webhook URL from your Order Desk settings to your Gelato account so shipment notifications come back automatically.
Add print details and automate
Save each product’s Gelato product code as
print_skuand its artwork asprint_url_1on its inventory item, then turn on Add Inventory Details to Order Items. Create a rule that submits orders to Gelato when they’re imported.Tip: send your first orders to Gelato as drafts so you can review them before they go to production.

eBay + Gelato questions
Can eBay orders be sent to Gelato automatically?
Yes. Order Desk imports your eBay orders on the schedule you set, adds the Gelato product codes and artwork saved on your products, and a rule triggered by “Order is Imported” submits them to Gelato.
What does Gelato need for each order?
Each item needs Gelato’s product code (print_sku) and at least one artwork URL (print_url_1). You can add up to five print files per item, each with an optional print location.
Does tracking go back to eBay?
Yes. Gelato sends shipment notifications to Order Desk through a webhook. With Sync Tracking Numbers turned on, Order Desk sends the shipment details to eBay and the order is marked complete.
Why would an eBay order not import?
Order Desk skips eBay orders that are already shipped, not completed, inactive or unpaid. eBay orders can also arrive out of sequence, so it’s a good idea to occasionally run a manual import from an earlier date to catch any that were missed.
Does the eBay connection expire?
Yes. eBay connections expire after three years. To keep importing orders, sign in to eBay again from Order Desk to renew the authorization.
